He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Newhook; his son Edward Newhook; his grandson Zachary Newhook; his parents, Hazel and Winston; and his siblings, Wayne, Paul, Jimmy, Christine, June and Betty.
He is survived by: his partner Shirley Power; his children, Debbie Butler (Keith), Bev MacNeil (Dave), Tony Newhook (Roxanne), Valerie Mayo (Dave) and Cathy; his grandchildren, Keith Jr. (Heather), Krystle, Tom (Vanessa), Ashley and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Rebecca, Isabella and Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
