Alice Reddick-Short Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Reddick-Short (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bridget Sullivan and Edward Sullivan; her former husband Patrick Joseph Reddick of Bauline East; her husband William Francis Short of Kingston Newfoundland; her siblings, Geraldine (Gerry Costello) and Joseph Sullivan (Vivian); and her brothers-in-law, Ron O'Brien, Paul Otis, Greg McFatridge and Jim Lynch.
She is survived by: her children, Tom (Ozette), Brian (Helen), Gerard (Jennifer), Carl (Brenda), Linda (Charlie), Patricia (Carl), Sandra (Sheila), Patrick, Edward (Vanessa) and Ron (Tammy); her stepchildren, Donald (Marina), Gary (Berdina) and Helen; her siblings, Mary O'Brien, Margaret Otis, Gertrude McFatridge, Brendan (Shirley), Edward (Sharon), Francis (Marie) and Bride Lynch; and her family, Tom, Brian, Gerard, Carl and Linda. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In 1988, due to illness with Parkinson's Disease, Pat retired from IOCC and the family moved to Harbour Grace.
