She was predeceased by: her husband Angus Steele; her daughter Brenda Steele; and her brother Dave Hoskins. She is survived by: her daughter Janice Hudson; and her grandchildren, Barry Hudson, Tina Hudson, Jay Lawrence (Laurie), Rick Hudson (Kim) and Cory Lawrence (Jennifer).
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
