He was predeceased by: his wife Florence (Chaulk); and his siblings, Arthur, Albert, Harrison and Margaret.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn (Gary Connolly), Chris (Patricia), Ann, Ken and John (Georgina); his grandchildren, Catie Foley and Riley Downton; his children, Jessica, Christopher Downton, Samantha Molloy, Michael, Sarah Jane and Maria Downton; his great grandchildren, Rebecca Molloy, Bailee Molloy-Lane and Felicity Downton; and his grandchildren, Mercury and Joanna Foley.
Allister moved out of his family home in 2020 at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
