It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alonzo Power (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mamie; his parents, Ronald and Evelyn; and his brother Melvin. He is survived by: his daughter Laurie Critch (James); his grandchildren, Jamie (Erica), Matthew (Emily) and Thomas; his siblings, Clarence, David, Cynthia, Margaret, Norma, Shirley, Donna, Graham and Karen; his siblings-in-law, Paul Morris (Jennifer) and Doreen Cull; and his pet Gizmo.
Donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
