She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Blackwood and Charles Blackwood; her siblings, Norman, Leonard and Triffie Humphries; her parents-in-law, Irene and Gladstone Guzzwell; and her siblings-in-law, Walt Humphries, Bill Ivany, Don Ryan, Martha and Ethel Blackwood.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Guzzwell; her children, Catherine (Paul Barrett) and Stephen (Wendy); her grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren Guzzwell and Shannon Barrett; her siblings, Gloria Ivany, Amelia Ryan and Gerald Blackwood; and her brothers-in-law, Keith Guzzwell (Carol) and Geoff Guzzwell (Marie).
In keeping with Anita's generous spirit, the family invites those wishing to honour her memory to perform an act of kindness for someone in need or make a donation to a local food bank.
