He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Crocker and Randolph "Skipper" Crocker; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Maude Melendy; and his in-laws, Alma (Charles), Olga, Florence (Walter), Molly (Walter), Bill, Randy (Eileen), Clarence (Joyce), Dulcie (Edward) and Dawn (Woodrow).

He is survived by: his children, Garry (Penney), Renée (Barry) and Cindy (John); his wife Ruby; his daughter Peggy (Sandie); his grandchildren, Jason (Melanie), Jessica (Robby), Melissa (Warren), Kayla (Chris), Robyn (Mike), Alexa (Erik), Tayah (Jake), Sarah, Noah and Adam; his great grandchildren, Ruby, Rosie, Meia, Carly, Damien, Brady and Lochlan; his brother Berkley (Judy); his siblings-in-law, Lloyd (Judy), Harold (Margaret), Joyce and Betty; and his niece Marilyn Masters (Bruce). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and treasured friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Salvation Army (25 Adams Ave, St. John's, NL A1C4Z1).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army or Ronald McDonald House Charities, St. John's, Newfoundland.
