She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Maxwell Caines; her parents, Samuel Batten and May Batten; her siblings, Sam Batten, Ruth Patten, Doris Dwyer, Caroline Watton and Margarite Batten; her siblings-in-law, John McGinn, William Dwyer, Maxwell Patten, John Caines, Ralph Manuel, Ches Parsons, Bill Gillam, Marina Batten, Ann Manuel, Doreen Parsons and Gwen Gillam; her nieces, Judy and Glenna; and her nephew Stephen.

She is survived by: her children, Trina (Terry Stanford) and Michael (Susan Newbery Caines); her granddaughters, Barrett and Harper Caines; her siblings, Gloria Robertson (Jerry), Jean McGinn, Joyce Fitzgerald (Eric) and Ronnie Batten (Verna); and her siblings-in-law, Michael Caines (Ann) and Stella Caines. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
