Betty Constance Barrett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Constance Barrett (St John's, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Campbell and Ellen Russell (Foley); her sisters, Flora'Peggy'Bulmer (Howard), Alena MacKinley (Robert), Helen Jean Arnold (Frank), Dorothy'Dody'Creighton (James), Eileen Lobban (Byron) and Frances'Frankie'Tetford; her brothers-in-law, Donald Barrett and Jerry Mathis; and the father of her children Harold'Hal'Barrett.
She is survived by: her children, Gregg (Jennifer Smout), Glenn, Mark (Joanne) and Jennifer (David Taylor); her grandchildren, Alex (Taylor Witty), Katie (Mark Burton), Michael, Andrew and Michelle; her great grandchildren, Nora and Henry; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon Tetford, David Barrett (Ginny), Clara Barrett and Sonia Mathis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church.
