We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2023, at the age of 80, Betty Layden (St John's, Newfoundland) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Layden to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Delphine White and Raymond White; her siblings, Jerry White, Cherrie White and Thelma Whiting; and her close friend Liz Garland.

She is survived by : her daughters, Michelle Nawfal and Cindy McGrath (John); the father of her children Roy Layden; her granddaughters, Ashley Fredley (Jon) and Emily Nawfal; her great grandchildren, Adelyn and Olivia Fredley; her siblings, Harold (Shirley), Varrick (Karen), Lorne (Cheryl), Greg and Pamela White; and her close friend Barbara Rogers.

Donations may be made in her memory to Heavenly Creatures.
