Boyd left this world on August 1, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Day (White) and Charles Day; his siblings, Gervis Day of Kentville, NS, Calvin Day of Garnish, NL and Shirley Day of Garnish, NL; and his siblings-in-law, Florence Day, Ida Roberts, Bernice O'Rourke, Joe Roberts and Albert Davis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tanya (Emad) and Carla (Glen); his grandchildren, Lucas, Evan, Devin, Quinn and Beri; his siblings-in-law, Helen Davis, Valerie Hill and Barlow Hill; his nieces and nephews, Sean, Geoff, Blair Day, Robert, Scot and Colin Day; and his friends, Jean and Sel Warren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, or a charity of one's choice in Boyd's memory.
