It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Boyd Stanley Smith (St John's, Newfoundland), born in Spaniards Bay, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fred Smith and Ina Legge-Smith; and his mother-in-law E. Joyce Chipman of Spaniard's Bay. He is survived by: his wife Verna (Bishop); his daughters, Kelly (Chris Wayland) and Jennifer (Chris Porter); his grandchildren, Paul, Matthew, Ted, Avery and Max; and his sister Bernice Kearley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
