He was predeceased by: his wife Maisie; his son Eddie; his parents, George Bright and Emma Bright; and his sisters, Doris (Reginald) and Winnie (Albert).
He is survived by: his children, Billy, Kimberly Johnson (Alan) and Beverley Bailey (Perry); his grandchildren, Melissa (Andrew), Tyler, Dylan, Justin, Sammy and Brock; his siblings, Jim (late Susie), Margaret (late Wallace), Jean and Marie (late Steve); his sister-in-law Iris; his daughter-in-law Denise; and his brothers, Dave and Melvin.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
