She was predeceased by: her father Bryant Caines; and her grandparents, Caroline, Thomas Caines, Julie and Edward Matchim.
She is survived by: her mother Catherine Caines; her husband Garry Luffman; her children, Richard (Eduarda), Randi and Rykker; her siblings, Marlene (Bob), Spike (Ruth) and Bryant (Janine); her parents-in-law, Harvey and Mary Luffman; her sisters-in-law, Kimberly (Trevor), Charlene (Brian), Cindy and Tina (Shawn); and her siblings' children, Paula, Alice, Gina, Christina, Daria, Kara, Hannah, Cassandra, Morgan, Skyler, Bryant Jr., Jordan, Christian, Liam and Gavin. She is also survived by 13 great nieces and nephews.
Charlene's family would like to request donations to be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, in her honour, in lieu of flowers.
