He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Bay (Ada Stacey) and Placentia Bay; his parents-in-law, Harold, Isabella Abbott of Summerville and Bonavista Bay; his brother Velmore Stacey; his nephew Brian House; and his pet Stella.
He is survived by: his wife Olive; his sister Donna House (Levi); and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Prince, Loretta Russell and Dolph Abbott (Ellen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society.
