With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claudia Joan Stone (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 19, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Stone; her parents, Otto and Joanna; her siblings, Elizabeth Vincent, Vera Green (late Leonard Green) and Doug; her parents-in-law, Thomas and Mary Stone; and her brothers, John (Yvonne), Ted (Collett), Harry Stone (Francis), Gerald Stone (Brenda) and William Yetman.
She is survived by: her son Gary (Vickey); her grandchildren, Ashley (Corey), Courtney, Stephanie and Jason; her great grandchildren, Ryder, Payton, Tate, Paisley and Kayden; her siblings, Elaine Yetman and Winston (Valerie); and her siblings-in-law, Debbie Duffet (Mike), Elizabeth Walters (late Patrick), Jean Cole (late Gerald), Wayne (Dorothy) and Ronnie (Audrey).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association.
