With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clayton J. Penney (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 30, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Penney and Hazel Penney; his wife Florrie; his brother Oscar; and his sister-in-law Nellie.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Charlie King (Ruth), Clayton King and Shirley LeGrow (Herb); his significant other Mary Hodder; his children, Craig (Sharon), Karen McCallum (Barry) and Todd (Lauren); his stepdaughters, Irene (Jerome) and Bridget Hodder; his grandchildren, Sarah, Laura McCallum, Ava, Jackson and Ruby Penney; his sister-in-law Madeline; and his siblings, Allister and Judy Shortt (Dick).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clayton's memory to Wesley United Church, the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, or a charity of one's choice.
