It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Sidwell Patey (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chesley Patey and Ida Patey; his brother Eric Patey; and his grandson Joshua Nolan. He is survived by: his wife Meletta Patey (Randell); his children, Sheila Arnold (Shawn), Paul Patey (Martina) and Sandra Nolan (Paul); his grandchildren, Sarah, Meaghan, Andrew, Jennifer, Emily and Amber; and his great grandchildren, Sydney and Sophie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Thrive, an organization that was close to Clyde's heart. A blood donation to the Canadian Red Cross can also be made to honor him.
