He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Frederick Morgan and Victoria Anthony (Mabel). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Anthony, Ryan Gosse, Holly, Kelsey Morgan, Abigail (Abby) and Samuel Morgan (Sam); and his great grandchildren, Logan, Catherine and Josephine Gosse (Josie).
In 1990 he was inducted into the NL Tennis Hall of Fame recognizing his outstanding contributions to the sport of tennis.
