He was predeceased by : his parents, Sarah Fowler (Byrne) of St. John's and Joseph P. Fowler of Cupids, CB; and his siblings, Frank, Ron, David, Noel and Margaret.

He is survived by : his wife Donna Covey; his sons, David (Marylou), Jeff (Allison), Peter (Renée) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Anna, Julie, Amelia, Sean, Nicholas, Michael, Sophie and Bijou; his sisters-in-law, Patty Fowler, Anne Marie Fowler and Irina Bialetskaia; and also, Barbara (Roger Greenwood) of Ottawa and Ron Carrigan.

Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Cy's name can be made to the Gathering Place.
