He was predeceased by: his mothers, Betty Lansdell and Alma Blackwood. He is survived by: his wife Janet Blackwood Lansdell; his daughter Dana (Peter Havel); his granddaughters, Emily and Chloe; his brother John (Marlene); and his sisters-in-law, Beverley Blackwood and Debbie Okamoto (Bob).
