He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella and Norman; his parents-in-law, Maria and Joseph Kendall; and his siblings-in-law, Mary and Sidney.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Dwight (Jackie), Jeffrey (Elizabeth) and Jocelyn (Ahmed); his grandchildren, Ava, Steven Ralph, Ibrahim, Ismael, Samira and Davey Ghareib; his siblings-in-law, Roy (Debbie), Eileen (Alvin) and Florence; his close friends, John Brooks and Reverend David Pilling; and his cousins, Gloria Mercer and Peggy Bartlett.
