He was predeceased by: his wife Gail; his parents, Arthur Hann and Lucy Hann; and his parents-in-law, Chris and Cavelle Murphy.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Hann, Davey Hann (Michelle) and Kelley Hann (Beckah); his grandchildren, Dylan Neville (Abby), Kinsley, Lauren and Lane Hann; his brothers, Morley Hann (Carmel), Larry Hann (Evelyn) and Don Hann (Glynis); his siblings-in-law, Tony Murphy, Sherry Eddy (Barry) and Roxanne Tucker (John); his close friends, Don and Rose Squires; and also Jackie Gillett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the 28th Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3).
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in David's memory to Saint Luke's Community Living or to The Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
