We are sad to announce that, on December 25, 2021, at the age of 67, Debra Carnell (St John's, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Meghan Butler (Keijiro Noda) of Edmonton, AB and Jonathan Butler (Danielle Thomson) of Calgary, AB; her close friends, Margot Carnell (Garnet Kindervater) and Robin Hussey (Pat Hussey); her brother Geoffrey Carnell (Cindi); her grandchildren, Cassie and Jake Butler; her nieces and nephews, Lauren Parsons, Sara Hussey (Alex Kindervater), Jordie Kindervater, Geoff and Greg Carnell; her friends, Leslie Searle of Toney River, NS and Lynn Green; and her close friend Jill Eaton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association of NL, the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, or a charity of one's choice.
