It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denis Joseph Lawlor (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Mary (Dobbin); and his son Denis. He is survived by: his wife Jean of Sixty; his brothers, Tom and Stan (Geri); his children, Stephen (Tammy), Paul (Laura) and Sandra; his grandchildren, Dylan, Mark, Emmanuel, Simon and Anna; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Kinsella (Loretta), Edward Kinsella, Bill Kinsella (Patricia), Cy Kinsella (Louann), Betty (Bill Doyle), Ann (Murray Boutilier), Gen (Bill McDonald) and Theresa Peacock.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist.
