With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Derek William Thomas (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 16, 2022 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Martin; his sister Linda; his parents-in-law, Helen and Joseph; his brother-in-law Albert; and his pet Muggsy.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his sons, Steven (Miranda) and Dylan (Jess); his pets, Rupert, Kinky and Boots; his mother Margaret; his siblings, Paul (Janet), David (Tina), Colleen (Paul), Debbie (Ken) and Thomas; his siblings-in-law, Harold (Lorraine), Ed (Charlotte), Wayne (Sharon), Larry, Diana (José) and Barb (Bruce); and his friends, Reg, Judy, Ted, Brian, Lox, Jim, Marylou, Dave, Janet, Chris, Donna, Paul, Sue, Moya and Tom. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
