She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Somerton and Lillian Somerton; her siblings, Trevor, Rick, Terry, Shelly Campbell and Alecia Tonner; her cousin Rosalind Scholz; and her brother-in-law Cyril Broderick.

She is survived by: her husband Brian Caines; her children, Kimberley Somerton (Wade), Karl Vatcher (Joyce), Kurt (Leigh), Kristopher Vatcher (Oat) and David Vatcher; her stepdaughters, Christeena Caines (Ian) and Lisa Caines; her great grandchildren, Amber, Summer, Hailey, River, Harmonie, Londyn, Jacob and Emily; her siblings, Fred (Brenda), Allan (Bev), Kenny, Dave (Beulah), Rosanna Broderick, Jacquline Williams (Deland) and Debbie Somerton; her parents-in-law, Judy Somerton and Norm Campbell; and her close friends, Susan, Gord Hovencamp, Cliff, Vera Seaward, Doreen Baird (Tony), Fred Scholz, Angie Fowler, Mike and Judy Spurrell.
