He was predeceased by: his sons, Lloyd and Ken; his parents, Joseph Ash and Margaret Ash; his wife Sylvia; his sons, Peter (Chantal) and Robert (Marc); his granddaughters, Kaitlin, Rebecca and Lauren Ash; and his great grandchild Audrey Pertoci.

He is survived by: his sister Sylvia Baker (NS). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters-in-law.
