He was predeceased by: his brother Robin Cook; and his grandson Jonathan Cook. He is survived by: his wife Clara June; his children, Christopher (Joyann) of Rochester, N. Y, Penni (Dean Gunby) of Georgetown, ON and Kimberley (Brian Sheppard) of St. John's, NL.; his grandchildren, Colin (Sara), Claire, Carolyn, Cameron Cook, Luke, Owen Gunby, Eric, Sarah, Elsie and Julie Sheppard; and his siblings, Graham Cook (Jocelyn) of Corner Brook, Sybil Steele (Martin) of Corner Brook, NL, Kathleen Greening (Wilfred) of Shoal Harbour, NL and Marion Huxter (Curtis) of Edson, AB..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B3P2). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist (200 Military Rd, St. John's, NL A1C5G9).
