He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Sr. Sears and Catherine Sears (Coombs); and his siblings, Leo Jr. (Beatrice), Bennett, Allister, Virden (Janet) and Marie Porter (Donald).
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Sears (Lawlor); his children, Robert (Gina) and Donna Gallant (Marc); his grandchildren, Breton and Eden; and his brothers, Melvin (Jane) and Malcom (Francis). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
