He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, George (Sheila) and Lorelei (Tony); his grandchildren, Erin, Julie (Chris) and Carolyn (Connor); his great grandchild Zoey; and his friends, Kim Winsor and Sean Callahan.
Don also made significant contributions to sport in Newfoundland and Labrador during the early 70's.
