She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hunt and Letsie Hunt (Norris). She is survived by: her sister Marie Hounsell (Ronald) of Brampton, ON; her nephews, Rev. Randy Hounsell (Esther) of Rockwood, ON and Derek Hounsell (Stephanie) of Milton, ON; and her great-nieces, Sarah, Kristin Hounsell of Kingston, ON, Lily and Ivy Hounsell of Milton, ON.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A reception was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 at the Barrett's Reception Centre.
