It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ruth (Vaters) King (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Vaters and Jenny Vaters; her husband Robert T. King; and her son Robert V. King. She is survived by: her children, Keith (Jean) and Denise (Robert); her grandchildren, Naomi King-Cochrane (Ben), Bethany, Robert, Eliza, Brittany and Brandon King; her great grandchildren, Robert and Hannah Cochrane; her brother Albert (Anita Vaters); and her sisters-in-law, Yvonne and Beulah Vaters.
Flowers will be graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Dorothy's name to the Canadian Red Cross, at 17 Major's Path, St. John's, A1A 4Z9.
