It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Albert Newell (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 28, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Newell and Minnie Newell; his siblings, Eric, Gerry and June; his brother-in-law Wilfred; and his parents-in-law, Elizabeth and Reginald Rumsey.

He is survived by : his wife Judy; his sons, Kerry (Rene), Sandy Ted (Tammy) and Rudy (Cindy); his grandchildren, Tyler, Lexi, Haleigh, Paige and Jeremy; his sisters, Lorraine and Angela (Ray); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley, Rudy Reg (Sharon), Dan Hollett and Jean Tremblett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, & friends.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, a funeral service will be held at a later date.
