It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Jacob Burry (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Burry and Hannabella Burry; his son Kevin; and his siblings, Gerald, Lester Burry and Nellie Kean.
He is survived by: his wife Violet; his children, Ivan (Carole) and Faye (David Smith); his grandchildren, Lori, DJ and Michael (Krista); his great grandchildren, Doneka Spencer, Abigail and David; his brother Junior (Mabel); and his siblings-in-law, Ann, Rita, Classie (Don Button), Gertie (Bruce Webb), Claude Hoyles (Viola), Peter and Wilson Hoyles (Marg). He is also survived by many nieces' nephews, other relatives and friends.
