It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward James Coady (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Ellen; and his siblings, Angela, Linus, John and Irene (Carmelita).

He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Kelly (Lorcan), Michael (Katherine), Andrea, Tara (Chris), Valerie and Wanda White; his grandchildren, Meighan, Chelsea, Chloe, Liam, Matthew, Jacob, Zachary, Sydney, Declan and Grace; and his nieces and nephews, Bernadette, Ellen, Michelle, John, Brian, Kevin, Sean and Mike.

Flowers are graciously accepted and donations can be made in Jay's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
