He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bourgeois and Mary Anne Bourgeois (Larade); his brothers, Nick, Alphonse and Simon Joe Bourgeois; and his parents-in-law, Ambrose and Marion Ryan.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie (Ryan); his children, Michelle Pye, Daniel (Melissa) and Tara Kennedy (Robert); his grandchildren, Alexander, Christopher Pye, Zachary, Nicole Bourgeois and Jennifer Kennedy; his siblings, Anna Jack, Bernadette Scarfo (Mike), Teresa Bourgeois, Mary Bourgeois, Helen MacMillian (Alec), Fred (Anna May), Levi (Denise), Simon Peter (Barry), Jerry (Pat), Paul and Joseph; and his siblings-in-law, Carmel Hearn (Pat), Hilda Hearn (Don) and Hilary Ryan.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mount Pearl Roman Catholic Corporation or to the St. Vincent De Paul St. Peters Church food bank.
