He is survived by: his son Eric Joseph Brookings (Diana); his granddaughter Libby; his siblings, Chris (Barb) and Bernice (David); his siblings-in-law, Ronnie (Anita), Biddy, Margaret (Cyril), Sheila (Jim), Shan and Helen; his nephews, Todd, Jimmy, Peter, Ed, Howard and Paul; and his pets, Misty, Shadow and Lucky.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
