Erika leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Erika’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Erika will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Erwin Koster (Jim); and her granddaughter Kristine Cadigan. She is survived by: her children, Diana Cadigan (Gerry) and Terry Koster (Lisa); her granddaughter Erin Petruska (Dave); her great grandchildren, Kasey and Jack Petruska; and her sister Ilse Rachow.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Erika's memory may be made to Cancer Care Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador.
