Ethel S. Hynes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel S. Hynes (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her spouse Francis; her parents, Caleb Ellis and Mary Ann Ellis; and her sisters, Ruth Pickford, Helen Flight, Marilyn Burden and Jean.

She is survived by : her children, Robert (Dorothy), Glenys Newport (Clifford), Brenda Backman (late Charles), Corrine (Glen Dawe) and Syretha Michelle (Jim Dunlop). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ethel's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
