Eunice Ebba Ruth (Thistle) Vatcher Obituary

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence William Thistle (Broad Cove) and Louise Thistle; her children, Howard (Laurie), Susan (Frank) and Tamara; her husband Robert; her son Rob; her brother Alex (Anna); her cousin Sadie; her daughter-in-law Mavis; and her grandchildren, Moya (Ryan), Rebecca (Stephen), Warren, Kayte (Chris), Emily (Kaylee) and Alexander. She was also cherished by her 8 great grandchildren.

Eunice was a registered nurse who completed her training at the Grace Hospital in 1954; she worked at the Sanatorium in St. John's during the tuberculosis pandemic and later at the hospital in Labrador City.
