He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra (Anderson); his children, Diana (Keith Birchard) and David (Carolyn Mackenzie); his grandchildren, Lucy, Thomas Baird, Alex and Chris Birchard; and his brother Colin (Elspeth).
