She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Simmonds; and her son Paul Simmonds. She is survived by: her children, Peter Simmonds (Barbara), Pamela Hayward (John) and Karen Collins (John).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the 6th the Carnell Memorial Chapel (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the Anglican Cemetery (23-1 Empire Ave, St. John's, NL A1C3E4).
