It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Courtney Maddigan (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael Maddigan (Mike) and Mabel Maddigan; his brother Robert (Margie); his brother-in-law Bill Organ (Kay); and his parents-in-law, James and Elizabeth Organ (Betty).

He is survived by : his wife Mary; his children, Michael (Cathy), Louise, Jane (Tony) and Stephen (Heather); his grandchildren, Laura Hann (Mike), Lauren Avery (Connor), Beth Avery (Matthew), Emily, Jennifer Maddigan and Nathan Maddigan; his step-grandsons, Alex, Dylan Bridger and Adam Caines; his great grandchildren, Fallon and Raegan Hann; his sister Regina Nolan (Frank); and his sisters-in-law, Marg Kirsebom (late Peter), Louise O'Grady (late Frank) and Elizabeth Moore (late Leo). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Court's memory may be made to the Gathering Place, St. Johns.
