He was predeceased by: his son Christopher; his parents, Florence Kennedy and Frank Kennedy; and his parents-in-law, George and Gwen Parmiter.

He is survived by: his wife Glenys; his children, Jill (Matt Hickman) and Michael (Jennifer Keefe); his grandsons, Benjamin and Timothy Kennedy; his siblings, Steve (Yvonne), Terry (Cathy), Gerard (Mary), Marie (Steve), Patsy, Elizabeth (George) and Marguerite (Eric); and his parents-in-law, Jim and Alice Parmiter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and their children.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Bliss Murphy Centre or BeaglePaws Rescue.
