He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude Simms; his parents, Benjamin Simms and Berthania Simms; and his siblings, Harry (Maggie), James (Mary Alice), George (Rose), Francis Simms, Lucy Pickett (Wesley), Mary Parsons (Chesley) and Sophie Pardy (Levi).
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Fudge (Daniel), Harry (Ann Marie) and Franklin (Kelli); his grandchildren, Sarah (Evan), Benjamin, Adam and Andrew; and his nieces, Elsie Rose (Louis) and Cavell Reardon (James).
Due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic, the family requests masks to be worn.
