Garland Stokes Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 7, 2024, at the age of 72, Garland Stokes (St John's, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Stokes and Edith Stokes; his parents-in-law, Elijah and Lillian Stokes; his brothers, David and Ross Stokes; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth "Betty" Winsor, Bridget Stokes, Eric and Josiah Stokes.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his siblings, Daphne (Winston), George (Beverley) and Baxter; his siblings-in-law, Wallace, Sophie and Leah; his in-laws, Frances and Robert; and his close friends, Delphine, Lambert, Brenda and Ray. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and a tight circle of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Janeway Children's hospital or a charity of your choice.
