He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Earle Rafuse and Ethel Potter Rafuse; his sister Diane Rafuse; and his granddaughter Daphne Beaudoin. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Heather (Gerard), Adam (Kerrin) and Kathryn (Michael); his granddaughters, Maggie, Amelia and Natalie; his brother David (Eileen); his niece Ginette; his nephew Raph (Lesley); his stepmother Betty Rafuse; his sisters, Sharon Lane and Wendy Lund; and his mother-in-law Margaret Dubé. He is also survived by many sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gary's memory to the Community Food Sharing Association, VOWR, or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
