He was predeceased by: his father James "Barney"; his grandparents, Jack and Rose; his uncles, Eric and Walter "Wally"; his aunt Geraldine; and his cousin Christopher "Abbo".

He is survived by: his mother Lorraine (Gord); his children, April (Sam), Nikki (Leslie), Stephen and Gary; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Chloe, Mia and Oliver; his siblings, Scot (Dayle) and Shannon; his friends, Roy and Darlene Meadus; and his pets, Coco, Lily and Kitty. He is also survived by aunts; uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
