She was predeceased by: her parents, William Best and Neta Best (Hunt) of Corner Brook. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Lawrence; her daughters, Stacey Connors (Steve Chipun) and Shelley Connors Schulte; her grandchildren, Nicolas, Julia Chipun, Annike and Matthew Schulte; her stepdaughters, Tracy Lawrence (Fergus Murphy), Stephanie Lawrence (John Jenkinson) and Kerry Lawrence-Arseneault (Troy Arseneault); and her stepgrandchildren, Quinton, Donovan Arseneault, Connor and Emily Jenkinson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Anglican Cemetery - Kenmount Road.
